I contacted Miles Chimney Sweep trying to work with several companies on an urgent fireplace need to satisfy a house-sale closing requirement (inspection, damper repair, safe operation). Matt took my call, listen to my situation, and then was able to give me the confidence I needed that he could solve all of my issues in an extremely tight timeline. We had Miles Chimney Sweep out for a chimney inspection and cleaning. They did a great job and didn’t leave a trace of dust around the fireplace. They identified an issue with our rain pan, took the time to explain the need for a replacement and answer my questions. Came back a few weeks later for the rain pan install. Communicated with me every time they were coming and sent pictures of the completed job. Will certainly have them back out for future cleanings

The crew arrived on time, thoroughly cleaned and inspected the fireplace and chimney, and clearly communicated the results of the inspection to me. They were personable and the price was fair as well, so I plan to hire them again in the future.

Matt (one of the two owners, Daniel is the other owner) came to clean the dryer vent. I was very pleased with their work. They were on time, and thorough, explained what they had found, and made an excellent suggestion to help alleviate the issue moving forward. I plan to call them again next year to come to clean the dryer vent, and as we get closer to winter, I plan to call them to come to inspect and clean the chimney. Excellent customer service!

I have been so pleased with Daniel and Matt who have now made two visits to completely waterproof two very tall chimneys in our house. Matt was courteous and professional and THEY MAKE APPTS AND KEEP THEM and CALL before arriving which is so rare these days! Would heartily recommend their expertise and services!
